Biography

Born in Sydney, of Middle Eastern decent, Jonathan was drawn to fashion photography at an early age with both sides of the family involved in the Industry. Determined to see the world and make it on his own, he started his career in London to great success. New York was home for the next 20 years where he shot several international campaigns for multiple seasons including the Pringle of Scotland relaunch, Accessorize, Monsoon and Harrods, while also contributing to American Cosmopolitan, Australian Harpers, Untitled Magazine and many others. Lastly a stint in LA, where he was head of Digital Capture for Ordre. Working in London, Hong Kong , Shanghai, Milan, Paris and NYC shooting collections for Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schueler, Maticevski, Anna Sui, Alexander Wang and Vivian Westwood.

Recently returning to Bondi in 2021, Jonathan is excited to be part of the Australian fashion industry again and looks forward to bringing his international experience back home.
